12th Annual Cycling for Autism Event:

The 12th Annual Cycling For Autism event is October 21, 2023!  UPDATE – the ride will be going east from Whiskey Joe’s and run to and along the Veterans Memorial Trail to Cypress Point Park, with the start and end points at Whiskey Joes (this is due to trail closures on the Courtney Campbell Trail).  Registration, lunch, and activities will take place on their beach.  Rides will be 28, 21, 14, and 7 miles.

NEW for 2023! TEAM CATEGORY

Now you will be able to sign up and raise money for our beneficiaries as a team. Companies, cycling groups, organizations and families can sign up and have people support you and the team with donations.

To sign up, have the team coordinator create the team on the Cycling for Autism event page. Once the team is created, anyone can join and encourage co-workers, friends and family to support you and your team.

What is it? How does it work? These are a variety of ways you can help:

Virtual Rider:  Two ways to help the cause:

One:  Pepe Pinata has agreed again to be our Virtual Rider for this event.  If you can’t ride, or do not have someone you can sponsor, you can still help!!  Just go to Sponsor a Rider and scroll down to Pepe, and sponsor him.  Your donation will be much appreciated and Pepe will thank you!

Two:  Can’t ride with us on Saturday, October 21st? No problem! You can ride anywhere, anytime! Invite your family, friends, knitting circle, classmates, co-workers and gym buddies to cycle together! You can ride around the block, cycle a trail in your town, or even log your miles in spin class. Cover the distance all at once or split it up and ride a few miles here and there (you can definitely log 50 miles, right?)

How do I register? Register at Rider Registration and select Virtual Rider under Riding Distance. Now you’re ready to gather donations and share with your friends and family. It’s easy to ask for support for these 2 great organizations impacting individuals with an autism spectrum disorder.

How do I raise money for this great cause? That’s the really easy part (the pedaling is the hard part!). Once you register as a Virtual Rider, we’ll send you an email that you can share with your supporters to ask them to donate.

We’ll add your name to our Virtual Rider ‘course’ on the day of the event so you’ll be riding with us in spirit! Please share photos so we can see you ‘riding in style’.
